Description
1. Wash the hair thoroughly with a pH-neutral shampoo and, if necessary, thoroughly clean it with Directions Total Cleanse Shampoo. Then dry it with a towel.
2. Cream areas of skin on the hairline or protect against staining with skin oil. Put on plastic gloves.
3. Put Directions into the hair in portions and comb it. In order to achieve the best possible results with bright Directions shades, pre-bleaching and possibly double tinting is required.
4. After 10 to 15 minutes, stop the exposure and rinse the hair well with lukewarm water. If strong coloring tones are used (mainly rose red, partly plum), a second rinsing process can be carried out with a mild shampoo.
Note: Do not mix with peroxide. Do not tint the eyelashes or eyebrows. Do not rinse over the face, skin areas, bleached or color-changed hair. Except of Silver and White Toner, do not rinse in the shower. Do not use conditioner shampoos from other manufacturers. Do not use color refreshers.
Colors can be tested on the back of the hand for adhesive properties and visual appearance. Use light shades only for appropriately bleached hair. Natural hair and gray hair can be pre-treated for best results. Directions Total Cleanse shampoo or bleach washes increase the surface of the hair without causing noticeable damage. Leave the application on for 5 minutes, wash well, tone once or twice.
Directions is a coloring hair care. Don’t apply the usual hair treatment after bleaching, do not use hair care oils. Care products hinder or prevent the deposition of paint or can distort the color. Maintain tinted, highly blond hair after a few washes, if you don’t want the shade to be tinted, with Directions Conditioner Shampoo.
Styling products such as hairspray, hair lacquer, hair wax and oils can possibly reduce the adhesion to the hair and lead to discoloration.
Protect objects and fittings made of plastic against coloring. Staining of colored objects can be removed with chlorine cleaner.
Permanent colored hair can be intensified with Directions.
Directions shades can be mixed and are not permanent. The date of expiry varies depending on the selected color. Blanking out is possible. Residual color casts in the green area by means of a suitable water color deduction, i.e. bleaching out without peroxide.
